The reader is equipped with a serial current loop interface, simplifying the communication with the host system. An interface for a standard PC computer RS232 is available. The process of reader programming is simplified by the ability to upload and download library banknotes from a PC. For maintenance and help a program running under Microsoft Windows is available. The AL09B and AL98B have self-adjusting sensors. The start/thread sensor and detector are continuously monitored and adjusted. Statistic counters are accessible under software control.
